It started out innocently enough... should I do the challenge today and use some twine on my card? Why not, I thought to myself, remembering Anne's challenge to choose an image that would accommodate a crazy caption. The old rusty wheels started turning, and I had a plan to combine the two challenges. I'd CASE this pretty card by Phyllis, and get 'punny' with the title.
So far, so good. I colored my image with Copics, clear EP'd the wine bottle and carefully cut it out. Since the stem was so delicate, I thought I'd use sticky dots to adhere the image to my card. Here's where things took a turn for the worse. I ever so carefully placed my image on the sheet of dots... upside down!!! Needless to say, it's taken awhile to roll all those pesky dots off my wine bottle. The twine bow was supposed to go around the neck of the bottle, but I had to put it at the top to cover up some smudges.

I love your story how this came about and I love the end resulty. I love that image. Twine Knot is a perfect title. Unlike Anne, I had flowers in beer cans!

We never would've known any of that bad stuff if you hadn't told us! It looks great where the twine is! The flower is rather whimsical so it wouldn't have mattered much! Still it's a superfine card!!
Your wine bottle looks like real glass! You covered your smuges perfectly~ I don't see one thing out of place here! A fabulous case of the Queens! Love the twine knot!!

Oh - so sweet and soft and pretty. Bummer about the mishap with the sticky dots, I know I've done that sort of thing too. But at least you made a great recovery - the twine looks perfect where it is even it's only plan B.

That bottle image is great and your crystal effects or whatever you used on it really make it look awesome. I loved reading your story - that is the kind of thing that happens to me almost every time I make a card - people would feel sorry for me if they could watch me when I make cards! Your card came out really great though so it was worth the pain!
