My inspiration
are these earthtone colors on this shirt and tie.
the fence and dragonfly are colored with prisma pencils and gamsol, and are cut out and mounted up. The background scene is dtp.
I drew the black edge using a cork backed ruler as my guide, and a large black marvy marker.. this gives the look of another layer with out adding weight to your card.

What a wonderful scene and dragonfly! Just this morning I got to see the underside of a dragonfly that had alighted on the screen. I got to watch it for the longest time. The one I was watching was blue. It was very interesting from that angle.
