I am not sure this should even be uploaded but what the heck, it is my first altered anything! My beautiful DIL has some friends who are expecting and I decided to try to alter some frames. This one is for a room that is jungle themed. I painted the frame and clear embossed some shapes on it to give the wood some texture. All of the leaves are clear embossed and I have used about a pound of adhesives to keep all of this together. The baby is a girl and her parents don't care for lots of pink so I decided I would use just a little. My inspiration was the giraffe stuffed toy on the Decade Gifts website. http://www.decade-gifts.com/gift-338/Jellycat-Giraffe

I never would have guessed this was your first attempt at altering. I think you did a fabulous job of combining the various elements into this wonderful inspired gift.

Of course you should load this - it is fantastic! I love that shade of green and altered stuff is so great - especially when it looks this good after you alter it!
