Ravengirl(Toni) gave us the challenge today of using "woodgrain" in our cards. I chose to use my PTI impression plate. The pattern it leaves on the paper is not as clear and deep as an EF. I then swept ink pads lightly over the paper to bring out the grain.

I like the pop of colour from the watermelon flesh against your woody background. I sit on the fence over texture plates - even when they were all I had, I still felt the impression should be deeper. But I don't think I'd complain if my Fiskars ones turned out like this.
