In the Harmon clan we have a Sam,
~A girly girl she ain't~
Plays football on a team of boys.
She'll never be a Saint.
She runs real hard and hits hard too
And plays with all her might.
With elbows, feet, and long hair flying
She's really quite a sight!
She can teach that other Sam
To toss that gloss away,
To play as if she's just a guy.
So stay out of her way.
We'll send our Sam to educate
This girly girl real fast,
So she'll be sure to get that cash,
And NEVER come in LAST!
(This is what I do instead of cleaning and cooking!...DGS is watching a movie, so I could do this!) This card will go to Mark. I hope he will be cheered.

Cooking? Cleaning? What's that? Snort! This is so precious and omg, you are acing the poems this week and last....
Just like I don't know who number 55 is....I also don't know who #33 is......but since that number looks with Sam's hair, lipstick and sporting outfit, we won't question it too much!
Love this.....Its way fun.....And the grassy football field is sheer perfection! You did good......so fun to have you here.....lets go find Bertie, she said she would do your cooking and cleaning!

The card is great but the poem is an amazement. I found it difficult to focus on the challenge as I kept thinking about Mark. You have managed to do both a card and poem that are inspirational.

Much better than cleaning - spreading cheer and happiness and using red along the way. Gosh, shows how much I know about American Football, I never knew the goal looked like that. Mind you, I expect the only time I've seen any is in that Marx Brothers' movie! Your Sam sounds like a real asset to the TPT team this week.

What a great poet you are, Anne! A woman of many, many talents Love this card and how you used the challenge cards. We'll have to work on that ambi-eye-strous thing. Oh, almost forgot! I made you a cherry pie for you today, but before I could drop it in the mail to you, my DH arrived home from work and gobbled it down in two bites. Too bad, so sad ;)
