Continuing on with my "poppy kick", I made a card for the Color Challenge today using a poppy image again. The colors Betty gave us were: Barely Banana, Mellow Moss, Real Red, and neutrals of choice. The dessert was a decorated frame which I did not add to my card. I have one punched border, but that doesn't count.
I stamped the text behind the poppies and used chalks to shade the image panel. The black/white gingham ribbon was toned down with my Copics so the white wasn't so WHITE...better to blend with the card.

Oh this is awesome Sallie!! I had a similar thought in mind to add some black - (not sure if I will). Your roses are so beautiful!! Love your ribbon too. You used these colors splendidly.
