Congratulations, Nikki, on being chosen as this week's Featured Stamper! I enjoyed cruising through your darling gallery and settled on your cute Changito Paula Deen card here:
Things I changed:
1. image
2. colors
3. embellishments
My SU demo is famous for saying "for every mistake, there is an opportunity." Well, she is right. After I colored my image, I smeared a little black ink in the sky area (grrrrr!). So, thinking about Barb's quote above, I thought "what opportunity is there here for me to make this work?" Puffy clouds!!!! Yeah, man! I got out the trusty dusty liquid applique and made puffy clouds to cover my mistake. Problem solved!
Thanks for looking! I hope you're having a terrific day; we are having a gorgeous summer day here. My friend, Lynn, and I spent the morning at a local arts festival and had a blast! Now, I need to get a few chores done......(maybe---heh-heh!)

Wont your demo be so excited to hear about what you've done. You've actually listened to her and put that adage into play on this so adorable card, Charlene. Yeah, man, this is really like so cool. I love the image. I had to look twice though to figure out what was inside. Duh! You've covered your mistake amazingly well. your sky is perfect. sweet card.
