I'm not familiar w/ our FS today, but I enjoyed looking through Michelle's gallery. I have been accustomed to going to the last page of the FS gallery & looking at their first upload! Michelle's card, Candy Striped Wishes, got me w/ the frist glance as I loved the ribbon treatment. It was something I've never thought of doing. Here is Michelle's card: Candy-striped wishes by eliotstamps at Splitcoaststampers
I kept the same ribbon treatment & birthday theme, but all else is changed. I inked my image in Old Olive & tapped on Summer Sun marker. I spritzed my w/c paper & the inked stamp & stamped. I really wanted to do something different, so here it is. I think there's a name for this technique, but I don't know what it is.
Michelle, I hope you like my version of your card.
Thanks for stopping to take a peek and have a great Sunday everyone.
I see there are still the dreaded RED X's in the gallery. What's up w/ that???

Your CASE of Michelle's card is great! I love Upsy Daisy and the subtle look you achieved here. Weaving ribbon this way not only adds interest, it only requires one stamp to mail, and as Martha says "that's a good thing."
