Okay, how THRILLED was I to learn that Pat Smethers is the Featured Stamper this week! WOWEEEE!
Pat has such a huge heart and such fabulous talent, it was staggering to me that she had not yet been featured as a featured stamper. That being said, it was a stupendous treat to CASE one of her wonderful cards today. It was such joy to peruse her fantabulous gallery to see which one I might actually be able to case. As if!!! Well, I lucked out and the image for my card was sent to me by Pat herself. So I chose this gorgeous card from PatÂ’s gallery: Horse Baby by patsmethers at Splitcoaststampers.
IÂ’m probably breaking a thousand rules on this one, so please donÂ’t shoot me! I confess that I didnÂ’t change much. (Why mess with perfection, eh?!!!) I used the same paisley stamp to make the panel under the horse image which I embossed in copper. I used shimmery metallic copper stock as the bottom panel which is embossed with the paisley CB folder. I used the rope border punch in place of PatÂ’s wonderful loop punch. Replaced the ribbon with a lariat in black twine, added brads and lightly sponged the edges of the image in grey. The main image panel is popped up on dimensionals.
Congratulations, sweet Pat! Enjoy your day and week!
Thanks to all who have a moment to take a peek and have a wonderful day!

I think this is perfect, even if it was an exact copy, emily! How can you fiddle with perfection?? I love this card. If you don't send it to Pat, is it up for grabs???LOL!
