My DDC 1-2-3 combo is: ONE pot of petunias, TWO orange ribbons, and THREE rhinestones in the corner. This is the first time I've ever used rhinestones, and I'm pleased to finally use the Flourishes From the Garden set I won recently. I love the "nurture yourself" sentiment in this set--this get well card will go to a friend who is having hand surgery on Friday.
We've had a rough patch here at my house. My son, who had walking pneumonia last week, is all better, but I've had one heck of a head/chest cold. I'm feeling the best I've felt in about five days (the first time I've felt like even attempting something creative), but that's all relative--I'm still not at the top of my game, health-wise nor creatively. And now, I think it's time for my morning nap.
Thanks for looking,
Emily

I'm glad to hear your son is better, sorry to hear you're not...I have missed you the last couple days!! Your card is sooo pretty, your flowers are just lovely (love the detail of outside yellow/gold, the inside pink...so creative!)!!...I think you need to send it to yourself ...take care...so you can take care!!

So sorry to hear you have had a rough time Emily! But sounds like things are starting to turn around. (fingers crossed!) You could have fooled me that you were not on top creatively! This is a sweet and beautiful card! I must get this set. The flowers are so pretty and I do love the sentiment. The colors are happy and would cheer anyone!! TFS and take care of yourself!! Gentle hugs!
Emily, it looks like you got your game back! Your card is lovely - it will certainly cheer up your friend! Love your dp and lucky girl, winning those fab stamps!!! You did them justice! So relieved to hear your son is doing well, and now you need to 'nurture yourself' and get better too! Great work!
