This is for FS154 honoring Anne, jdmommy. Here is a link to Anne's A Little Tree for Me that inspired my project. CC248 A Little Tree For Me! by jdmommy at Splitcoaststampers
I kept the same layout but turned it on it's side. I loved her little snowman and his tree but espeically loved her torn snowy ground. I used Stampavie's Bear Flower image as it was also carrying something that I could paint RED to honor Anne's favorite color. I stamped the image on watercolor paper, painted and cut out to pop up over the background layer. I tore a piece of paper and used it as a mask to sponge on the green ground on the image layer. I tore pieces of white for the foreground layers and sponged with the same green. I sponged in the sky using a hand cut cloud template. I attached the image layer over a piece of white paper with a scalloped border matching what Anne did on her project. I think this little guy is adorable out on the path taking flowers to someone special.
