This was an - um, challenging - sketch challenge, Faith. But after time to think about it, I decided to use it to make a feature of the washi paper I used for the background. Then it was fun to put the card together - thanks...
5 3/4" base, covered with blue Prism paper and then washi paper. The purple panel was sponged to add depth to it. I embossed my orange *sun* with the herringbone ef and sponged with orange ink. Tied some blue organza ribbon round, and then added more blue and some narrow ivory ribbon in a knot around it. The image is Kodomo Inc, stamped on cream card and sponged with Antique Linen. I added red to the crane and green to the tortoise with markers and an aqua-brush.

Absolutely STUNNING! And I don't say that very often! Love the sun, the Washi paper BG, the way the whole thing comes together! Just fabulous! TFS, and have a very happy holiday!
