Thank you Betty for an interesting color challenge today. I thumbed through many of my papers to find just the right one for the real red. In the end, I chose Memory Box Gingercake paper from 2008. I had the beautiful red and a wee bit of patterning.
I love this quip from B Line Designs. And it is calling to me even more this season. I stamped the words on acetate with Stazon Jet Black. Traced the largest heart shaped Nestability and hand cut. I used copper staples to attach the piece to the gingercake paper. A Tim Holtz ideaology ticket, HOPE was tucked into the heart and a bit of the summer sun ribbon for a pull. This was mounted on a SU sahara sand base and a tiny bit of braided trim was added to the top and a 't' tiny photo corner cut from SU summer sun.
I am thankful for reminders of God's generosity these days, friends who have given me space as I worked through my grief, mental rest from all the endless details of life and perspective, heavenly perspective of this season of my life. I am so very grateful for the gift.
Thanks for looking and taking the time to comment, each one is a present to me! Merry Christmas

Susan, I realized I am NO help at all! after you do the color and words, you have to add [/color]. Then your color will show up. I love your fabulous card today, and of course the RED.....I send big hugs, and blessings for you and your family on this holiest of holidays, welcoming the Saviour's birth!
