Thanks Lynn for finding this really neat technique to try out. I really did try to follow the directions on this one. I have two washers waiting for the glossy layer to dry. They are sitting on my file cabinet. I saw that Faith used UTEE on her pendant so I decided to give it another try, but I only picked up 2 washers this morning.... what to do...? I looked around my desk and saw a soda can. I wondered how this technique would look if I used the pop top instead of a washer. I glued my paper to the pop top and only cut out one of the holes. I glued paper to both sides. I then used my versamark pad and UTEE and heat gun to cover both sides. I then heated the utee and sprinkled gold ep. I reheated. I finished it off with my defective gold pen. I knew it puddled really badly the last time I used it. I purposely made it puddle and used a toothpick to pick up the gold ink and go around the edges. I liked how it turned out. I don't think it really looks like a pop top anymore. What do you think?
