Sorry it's another Braille card! I promised I'd upload my friend Geoff's Christmas card though, so here it is. I used this week's sketch for the layout, so I put on a lot more layers than I usually do!
I took up a couple of suggestions (thank you Susan and Krista!) and did the short word 'Joy' in Braille with the brads. I used a digital image of a branch (so I could resize it) and positioned the brads so they look a bit like berries visually, but Geoff will feel the Braille as usual.
Also used my brand new Big Shot (aren't I a lucky girl?) and embossed dots on the 1st layer, but reversed it on the card so it doesn't feel like Braille!
Thanks for popping in to look!

Sally, this is stunning - it has tons of visual interest for the sighted an tons of interest for Geoff too with all the layers, texture and braille. You are really, really talented.
You are lucky to have new tools - you did a great job with them too - can't wait to see your next card!

Now this is exactly what makes handmade cards so special!!! What a wonderful thing to make a card using braille to make it truly special to the receiver!!! Even if you hadn't said it was braille, I still would have said what a beautiful card this is - love the image and colours and clean lines!

This is so beautiful and what a friend you are to Geoff. I am sure he appreciates all the work you put into his cards. Those brads do look like berries. Your ribbon/bow is absolutely gorgeous.
