Inspired in general by the Cherry Blossom collection I made this card. Loved that soft blue in the porcelain, and I don't use this stamp enough.
Stamped the sparrows on white card and coloured with H2Os. Hard to get a good photo this late at night - there is more pink on the blossoms than showed. Masked the moon, coloured the background with an H2O wash and then sponged the moon in with ColorBox chalk Banana. Rounded the edges and wiped with Aqua.
Base layer is A2 pearlescent blue, with some pink grosgrain ribbon around it. Next layer is embossed pearlescent cream, with some light green Mizuhiki cord around it. Then I popped the image panel up on thin foam so that it wouldn't get marked by the cord, and added a little blossom. Technically I think it's almond, but it will do. I enjoyed making this - I've had such fun watching all our little baby sparrows in the back yard throughout the summer.
Thanks again for such an inspiring site.
For schirmcat's WOW10 challenge, seems to me these birds are having a good chinwag.

Wow1 This is a lot more beautiful than the thumbnail would suggest! I love the shimmer and the beautifully soft colors. Love the bird stamp too, and that flower is perfect!
