This card is for the Ways to Use It Challenge - travel theme. I immediately thought of this beautiful handmade paper that our daughter and son-in-law brought me back from their trip to Korea and Japan. I have only used one of the ten sheets, and I've had it for two or three years.
I couldn't bear to cover it up, though, so I put a strip of it across the card. I scored double lines on both sides of it, and added pearls to the small flowers on it. The sentiment is stamped with Brilliant Blue using Much Appreciated. I also added the pearls to the lower left. I wish you could see it 'in real life.' The gold is metallic.

Clean, simple and absolutely beautiful! The neatly scored lines and elegant pearls really emphasize the Japanese penchant for precision and detail. You did a good job designing the card for the beautiful paper.

WOW! I can see why you have treasured this incredible paper so long! It is so rich with it's wonderful dyes. I love the added pearls. At first, I thought this paper was too good to add anything to it! However, you found the perfect addition to this wonderful gift you received!
