Cool site Steph! I so needed a new purse. I just went with a Target' special, if you know what I mean. But today for my card I chose the suede one with the butterflies on it..........details.....
This went together rather quickly. I took an ATC card spread brown applique all over the front then brayered it and heat set it. Makes it look like suede don't you think?
After that I scored the edges to look like stitching lines.
Computer generated the sentiment and added a purple gem. Too bad it wasn't a pearl or I could say I impearled my card. (see Wednesday's WOW02 challenge to see what I'm talking about.)
The gorgeous butterfly was found in a magazine awhile back. I thought it would look pretty on a card, so I cut it out, put it on cs and added the diamond glaze. Then just set it aside until I found the right card to put it on. Today was the day.
Well, hope you like my IC card.......TFL :0)

Cathy, this is fabulous. I love the butterfly that you used. But I bet you knew that already. I love the look of the faux suede. Now this is a purse that I can see me using. Why didn't I see that one before I started making my card???? Great plug for Kelly's challenge.

That is real suede, I am convinced! And that stitching also looks equally as real. Did you rip apart one of Anne Ryan's Coach Bags? If this is true, like it I think that it IS...I'm telling Santa! (PS...it's Pat Smethers's fault...she got me in a telling on people kind of mood today...she told on nwilliams once today, hee!)
