Well to be truthful, I was more inspired by the poppies and thought that I could make the vase work. I made my poppies using my deckle decorative scissors to cut 6 tear drop shaped petals for each full flower. For the 2 partial flowers I did 5 petals for the flower. I added yellow chalk to the ends. I scored the petals. I glued them to a punched out circle. I used 2 little black circles that I made dimensional by wrapping it around the end of an unsharpened pencil. For the 2 partial flowers I used my ek success snowflake punch to make the green leaves. I used my deckle scissors to cut the 3 leaves out.
My vase was done stamping my stampabilities butterfly in versamark and heat embossing with silver ep. I glued everything to the turquoise vase because I thought it complimented the poppies.
