Hi! This card was made for today's Limited Supply Challenge: Get Your Motor Running.
I have very few "motorized" stamps...And, I REALLY wanted to use this Caribbean Scene. Yesterday the challenge was to use a charm on a card, and I had remembered finding this Casa Blanca type plane in my charm stash....So, that's how this card was inspired!
I decided to go with a "sephia toned" card and stamped the image and sentiment in Memento Rich Cocoa. Next, I used Copic Markers to color in the image. I didn't like the starkness of the card, so I distressed the layers and sponged on Chocolate Chip. I frayed the ribbon to add to the "distressed" look.
To limit, I used 4 layers plus base and only ribbon and Plane charm for embellishments.

Ohhh, love this card! My supervisor is getting ready to go to Hawaii and this card would be perfect for her. I see a case coming on. Very pretty! Love the airplane!

What fun! It has an antiquish feel to it with bronziness, tearing, and sponging. It reminds me of old Florida... well at least from the postcards and books I've seen.

Wonderful card as always. I had to laugh, because for some reason, the first thing that came to mind when I saw this was: "Look Boss, Da Plane, Da Plane". Think the plane is what sent me back to Fantasy Island LOL.
