I heard there might be trouble. So I decided to come as a guard. Good thing, the Queen's necklace has already been stolen and MariLynn was caught picking the Queen's flowers out of the garden. tsk tsk I would have been here sooner, but it is hard flying with this crazy big hat. Not to mention, it is hot!
I am guarding the rather large teapot. We are expecting a pretty big crowd today. I don't want Charlene putting in any of her left over Saki!....or Tea as she was calling it last week.
Well enough about me, here is what happened to the card............
Basically, stamped my bear and colored with copics markers making him look like the Queen's guards at the palace. Put him in front of today's teapot that was sitting just outside the palace walls.
So, beware. I am on the job!!! No shenanigans today!.....okay, maybe a little. After all, I was caught earlier in the day shaking my "big furry bear fanny" as schirmcat put it. At least everyone in line got a chuckle. I actually just had an itch I was trying to scratch. Silly me.
Well, must get back to guarding the teapot. I have seen a few suspicious persons lurking around............TFL :0)
Hi Sis!

Well, I certainly don't want to get on your wrong side, Nutmeg Mutnik cuz I've seen what you do to poor sweet Anne Ryan. I've seen those jail scenes!!! LOL! Cathy, you are a nutty, nut, nut, nutmeg! You crack me up, girl, with all your shennigans. Shake your bear booty, girl! This is too cute....I especially love those painted toenails. Hey, come on over here, nutty girl, I do, in fact, have a little sake left over from last week. The others don't have to know nuttin!

Big Furry Bear Fanny? Lol- How can I read past that? Mutnik, you are sooo certifiable, and I just love your work. (I think you are trying to get on Schirm's list again, aren't ya?) Your stories and art are great. Thanks for another great laugh and interesting card. Big Furry Bear Fanny! Bwahahaha!!!

Okay, call it what you will, but the bottom line remains unchanged: The upside kettle in no way resembles the queen's guards. You'd be thrown from here to there if you ever submitted this to the children's museum in London. what an outrage to disassemble the queen's formal attire by adding a humungous pot to that poor schmuck's head! Shameful, I say, teaparty or not!

I am so confused this week. I have to get a 'cup of tea'.....and read all of the comments so I can see what is going on. But to your card.....so cute. I am a little concerned about the bear having painted toenails but you have pierced many an animal so I guess I should not be too surprised. I love his outfit. Great job.
Mothermark did not say hi!!! What's up with that.
hugs,

I was upstairs ironing my shirt getting ready for work when I got the most sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach! I had to run down the stairs as fast as I could (not very fast!) and leave you another comment because I forgot to say Hi to Sis!
Like I said, a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach!!!
Hi Sis! Aren't you happy I think of you while ironing! Snort!
Your sister was sorta well behaved except for the part about her making one of the guards from Buckingham Palace laugh, a first in history and not a good thing!!!

Absolutely adorable, Cathy! Love your darling bear guarding the tea pot! Fun and super creative! Good thing you are keeping things in line (in a matter of speaking!!)! This teaparty crowd just can't seem to behave - even with the Queen! Stealing jewelry and flowers...we certainly won't be asked back to the castle!

I just love your bearguard! Sounds like scotchguard, but that's another story! I love your creativity.
Let me tell you all the fun I'm having with the boys, they now confirmed that we are to meet Sir Paul, yes as in MacCartney. With Miss Rose along she will cure any heartache left from that bad dancer that hurt him sooo. LOL Keep up the guard, we'll keep up with the fun!

This bear is so cute, but he looks so worried and rightly so with all the shenanigans going on. I love, love, love your teapot! It is wonderful. And the castle behind the scene is perfect. Great way to stand guard!!!

Love your Yankee bear, guarding, tea pot card! I'm so glad your bear has painted nails so everyone will know how fancy we Yankee's are! Don't worry about that "big furry bear fanny" dance. I brought my cat to chase that mouse right out of your pants!
