Thank you, Stef, for this uinque challenge! I never would have thought of a book cover for inspiration! Very cool! I'll be looking at all of my books from now on!
I love this stamp set from SU!, Happy Harmony. I heavily sponged the bg with Colorbox inks. Then stamped with Stazon Jet Black ink the dandilions. Some right to paper, some stamped off once and some stamped off twice.
Then, I stamped the sentiment also with Stazon Jet Black ink.
Simple and easy! My kinds of card!!!!!!

Love your card Lesley - awesome colours and sponging on that gorgeous image - this card also fits the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge....which requires sponging on your card - you should add it....well played - thanks for sharing!

Sponging? Whew! For a minute I thought it was the dreaded brayer! Lol- these colors are great! I love the starkness of the black, your card totally POPS!
