Coccinelle = ladybird in French, from the Latin name, Coccinellidae. I just like the sound of it .
I nipped up to my attic before work this morning, and thought it would be fun to make a card for today's challenge with this set from Woodware. The challenge was to think circles, and to use only stamps from ONE set, including sentiments...
It almost qualifies as my first toe dipped in the CAS challenge, but I just had to add a little colour to the ladybird's head. Research led me to believe the head, like the body, should be black, but believe me, it didn't look right.
I punched a circle window in the bottom left of the card (fits a business envelope), and stamped the ladybird on the inside of the card. Coloured with H2Os and added Glossy Accents on the body. Highlighted all the dandelion seeds with a clear Sakura Stardust pen. Stamped the little floating seeds, highlighted them, punched them out and stuck them on with dimensionals.
That's all, folks.
I'll be back to comment later...if I don't take a nap now I'll end up doing something sillier than nearly using Crackle Accents on my little ladybird. Which is why I didn't try making a spinner card!
