This was a fun challenge, I love different folds.
I jumped in feet first using papers that were on the table, so it's not perhaps as well thought out as my next one will be - but I remember my first never-ending card, there was a learning curve on that too.
The Basic Grey Eva papers were on my table from last night, so I picked some suitable Bazzill for a base, and cut and folded it according to the instructions. Then I trimmed 3 different patterns of paper to fit. For the central green rectangle, I embossed it with D'vine Swirl before trimming to size.
Great opportunity to use up some paper flowers I have had for a LONG time. The green ones have yellow brad centres, and the wine ones have punched stamens, which are Stickled, even though you can't tell in the picture. The embossed swirls are also Stickled. I used two of the papers to make photo corners, and attached an old recycled brass sentiment in the centre.
The bird is from Rubber Romance. I did look at it quite carefully before deciding it wouldn't be too hard to cut out. Boy, I must have been optimistic. It's coloured with H2Os.
I didn't decorate it too much because the papers are strong enough to stand on their own, but I will definitely try this again - maybe even make up a blank white template.
Thanks so much, Lynn.
p.s. - the blank tag is stuck on with repositionable dots at the moment, so it can either have another sentiment or a greeting written on it.

Wow these EVA papers really ROCK your bird out. The flourishes in the paper couldn't go any better with your main image! I also love how you made your sentiment charm stand out with the embossing and photo corners. Great card TFS!

This is my favorite type of card to make. The more embellishments, the better. Not like a regular card. You can get too busy on those. And this one is absolutely gorgeous.
