Check out this very elegant timeless classic of a teapot Cindy used for the tea-party this week. And the cake - sorry, card - she made. Wouldn't it make a brilliant wedding cake - - or card?
I used the photo of the teapot, applied a threshold, inverted it, printed it and cut out a template to use for my iris folding. I just used one type of white paper for the iris folding, and when I'd done that, I outlined the pot with a clear Sakura Stardust pen. I scored each edge. For the handle I crocheted a strand of raffia and attached it with little gold brads. Simple.
I believe White Tea is very fashionable these days, it seems to be the new green. Mind you, I drink my tea black - and weak.
Thanks for this rather challenging teapot this week, Cindy. It was a bit like being presented with a blank canvas!!

Reading all the uplifting comments you got with this one! What's left to say...except it's a masterpiece. Love the iris fold, if I could sit still to watch a tutorial I could give it a try. Looks so complicated but it makes for admirable work, like your teapot. BRAVO! Oh and Sabrina, I'd watch that little fairy of mine...for some reason, she just told me she loves iris fold and mud. Quick, it's time to duck now. LOL
