The challenge for today's LSC was to use a stamp or two to create a border - extra points for flowers. My real limitation today is time, as we are off down to my Dad tomorrow morning, so I've been shopping and cooking and baking. And my first card, which was going to be beautifully stamped and so on, I realised it was really more of a frame than a border. I think I could have scraped by on the grounds that a frame is a border on all four sides, but I decided to make a quick and simple card using these felt embellishments that I got as a freebie from Frantic Stamper. There was no name on the packaging, so I can't say who made them.
I used ColorBox colours to match the letters, and stamped the flowers once in a border along the base, and once on scrap card. Cut out the scrap ones, popped them up on foam and added the letters. Since I had little flower gems in the same colour as the candle flames, I added them too.
The base card is 4" high by 8 1/4" wide when folded.
