When I read today's challenge my mind immediately went to "eggplant" My family has an Easter party every year and we have an egg decorating contest, the competition gets pretty intense as the "grand prize" is a gift card to a yummy restaurant. many years ago David came up with the idea of making an egg-plant complete with a pot and soil it was so cute....but 2nd place!!
My egg-plant flower pot is made of real rust paper, and sponged with rust, chocolate, and vanilla ink to give it that "clay" look and texture. My eggs are from SU eggcitement{retired} and my flowers are punches with little bling centers. The leaves are old olive sizzix die cut. The edge of my pot rim is punched with the border scallop punch and the tag is the large SU punch with my sentiment in cocoa in sponged with rust ink. Baja breeze ribbon for the final touch. www.inkingpink.blogspot.com

This is so darn clever. I love the "egg plant". I give you first prize, but sorry, I don't have a gift card to a yummy restaurant for you. :-) TFS this darling idea.
