I didn't have to go very far in Beate's gallery (The 3rd post!) to find the card I needed to CASE!
How can you improve on a Beate sketch? I don't know! So I didn't. Its perfect. I did change up the stamp set and the colors. And I'll have to practice a lot to sponge ink the way she does! I did add some paper piercing (need to practice that too!) I didn't use any background stamps - didn't want to lose the shimmery white of that layer. I colored the flower with SU markers, and it looks like velvet on the shimmery white cs.
I used Fifth Avenue Floral for the floral image, and some of the words from Our Daily Bread Designs new Scripture Collections. I stamped the entire verse on the inside, and will be sending this card to our pastor and his wife who are retiring after 24 years with our church. Thank you Beate for the inspiration!
