I combined this weeks and last weeks technique challenges - cut it out and recessed window, plus this weeks sketch challenge at Paper craft planet. http://www.papercraftplanet.com/grou...lenge-020709-1
I cut the flower out of a sheet of embossed flowers. Main card is 5 1/4" x 7 1/2" - groovy guava. Next is chocolate chip, then a piece of wood grain paper - I ran this though the Cb with the distressed lines folder. Stitched edges. I made the rectangle recessed window - I put a piece of light green striped dp inside and I cut a piece of acetate to make it look like a shiny window. Cut out a scalloped rectangle and used the longer sides to make the scallops at the top and bottom of the window. Pierced scallops. Cut a piece of brick dp - this is up on pop dots. Made the tag and tied on with ribbon. Added stickles to the flower centers. I made the 3/4" side strip to match the main page. The side strip is part of the inside of the card.

Oh - to run around in that mind of yours! What creativity Patricia. These colors go so well together, and the texture is divine! I love the flowers too (do your fingers hurt?) I love the layed tag you sewed. So much work, but so worth the effort! You do beautiful work. tfs
