For todays sketch challenge - The seahorse is from Rubber Stamp Ave, but I don't know the company of the swirl stamps. They are clear stamps and I didn't write down the manufactures name - cause I was just soooo sure I would remember it! Ha!
Anyway - I couldn't think of anything good to use for the strip panel - I kept trying to come up with something, but hated everything I tried so in desperation I just wrapped string around it. Sort of tried to make it look like the star fish were caught in a net, but not sure I pulled that off.....string was the closed thing I had to a 'net'. The starfish and shell were cuttlebug dies.
I also added some random pearls since pearls are ocean-y too. Since this took me nearly all day, and I have done nothing else - Why start now? LOL - back to the craft room for me!

This is just magnificent is just so you, Michelle! Your talents are amazing and the cards that result from those talents are overwhelming. I'm totally in awe of this card. I've looked and looked at it, but it's way beyond my comprehension. Oh, can I relate to spending a whole day on a card...then 2 hours to clean up the kitchen. Oh, there's got to be a quicker way to create than make cards; you dont make cards though ~ you create works of art!

Gorgeous, Michelle! That seahorse stamp is such a charming image! I think you achieved your desired look perfectly! Great color combo, I love your shading on the seahorse, and those swirls and pearls are an excellent complement to each other!
