I wanted to make a special birthday card for my SIL, and this week's color, sketch, and limited supply challenges were a perfect combination. Emily's color challenge was to use Orchid Opulence, Cameo Coral, and So Saffron....what better way to use them but to color the sky with them! Roxie gave us another great sketch this week, and Taylor's Limited Supply Challenge gave instructions to use anything but green or red, and no holiday themes.
Essence of Love was stamped in Stazon black, colored with sponge daubers and ink pads. Added sponging, paper piercing, foam tape, ribbon and cord, and a flower charm. The sentiment was stamped, punched with the word window punch, sponged, and a second layer was cut by hand.
Thanks for looking! And bless you for your comments!
