For today's Limited Supply challenge---re-use, recycle, reduce.
Recently, I was going through some old boxes of photos and memorablia and I found my old Valentine mailbox---you know the ones I mean? The kind where we used to decorate an old shoebox and cut a slot in the top so classmates could slide in their Valentines?
It still had my old Valentines. This particular one that I used on this card was given to me in the third grade by a boy named Michael----I have no idea who Michael was! But I {heart}the Valentine he gave me, and who would've thought I would some day use it on a card many, many years later?!
I think I'll save this one and slip it into my youngest DD's shoebox this next Valentine's Day---she {hearts} everything deer.
For the card, I added the DD glitter and sponging to the image.
TFL!

Oooooh what a cute idea. I love this story. It is so sweet. I wish they made Valentines cards like this now. Now they are all geared towards characters on TV and movies. Awesome job.

I love the vintage valentine. Hopefully your DD will keep this for as long as you have.
