My DIL is a second grade teacher and is teaching her class about writing thank you letters - awesome, huh? Anyway, whenever I make a card for the class they each write a thank you letter and boy, are they cute. They work on spelling, grammar and punctuation but get to write whatever they wish. Some of these would have been perfect on Art Linkletter's show. I just use scraps and bits but they sure do love them. I couldn't come up with anything for antlers, so I used the Sizzix leaf stem die. I can't wait to read the next batch of thank yous! TFL

Christine, this was well worth the wait since your last card! This guy is priceless and what you created with his antlers is too creative. I'd have to call that creative genius! Great paper, too. I bet those thank you notes are too sweet! The kids will love this!
C'mon back again and dont wait so long!! Hugs

Those 2nd graders will LOVE this! I used to teach, so I know what you mean about the funny things they write. The antlers are great, especially with the little ribbon.

This is going in my favs......your dil is teaching a wonderful touch to those young people. We gave our kids ty cards in their Christmas stockings. Worked on one of the two who is so prompt in writing their thank you notes.
I love the antlers, very, very clever....tyfs. Happy New Year, Teri
