Well, this challenge turned out to be pretty darn fun! I pulled out Boatloads so that I could use eyelets for the little row of windows. I masked off the row of waves and stamped the boat on vanilla CS. I drew in the hole in the boat and bottom. After coloring in with markers and setting the eyelets, the boat was trimmed out. I created my horizon by masking it with a post-it note, then made a cloud template from another post it note. I sponged the clouds and ocean/sand to create my background. 4 eyelets were set in the corners. The boat/repair dock are popped up, as well as the sign I created. The little clouds were added on last.
Well, I just went to look for the challenge number and I see that we were supposed to use a single sheet of designer paper - it figures that I didn't... I'm going to submit to the challenge anyway and hope I don't get lynched! (Maybe you can pretend I used cloud patterned paper... hee hee!). Anyhow, thanks for looking alittle closer today, and I hope you enjoy my get well card!
Have a great Friday! -June

Wowza is this ever cute! The whole concept is so imaginative and your scene is out of this world! I love what you did with the boat; giving it the hole that needed repair. The sky is great and I like how you incorporated the ribbon as a flag. This is so clever! Into my favs it goes! ...and in my opinion, that sky should be considered designer paper ;-) TFS

You certainly did have fun with this! Love the scene you created. I hope this scene is imaginary only and does not reflect a personal experience! I love the clouds, the repair sign, the eyelets!

Amazing! I love what you did with this stamp. I'm going to have to give it a try. Our parish priest gets sick sometimes and this would be great to cheer him up! Thanks for sharing.

That is just so clever and so much fun - one for my Favourites for sure. I wondered, too, did we have to use the patterened paper; I rejected some of my first ideas because they didn't - and I did drop the optional ribbon which you managed to include in such a neat way!
