love the mad for plaid, Julia and this weeks sketch was very interesting, Roxi. I decided to combine them for my challenge today!
I am wild about this plaid paper from the infamous Costco stack last year...I believe it was a Wild Asparagus pattern. I used it as the basis for my colors. The semi-circle and long rectangle are PTI dark chocolate and an unknown turquoise. I stamped with Heritage Marvy sea foam dye ink...on the rectangle B Line wrought iron aged fragment and on the semi-circle SU floral. The circle is a petite scallop with a vintage cream (PTI) base. The nosegay is from StampaRosa. I inked it with Adirondack pitch black onto Neenah smooth white and colored with Copics. It is cut and popped on foam squares. I added a tiny ombre ribbon around the stems. Lady Bird Johnson's quote, 'Where flowers bloom, so does hope" finishes off my card. I matted the sketch pieces onto MM harvest 6x6 pad of papers, cranberry the one I chose and my card base is SU more mustard.
Thanks for looking...hope everyone is having a wonderful week...I'm focusing on hope with the change of seasons and the change in the highest office in our country, and hope with that cash infusion into our finanical markets...certainly without hope life would be very sad, indeed!

Love how you did that ribbon around the stems of the flowers. Fabulous way to combine these two challenges. That is really great plaid paper.
