This was kind of time consuming and difficult to make. I don't think a 15 yo... even a talented 15 yo can do it.
Let me see...
The pond is cut out of the cardstock freehand. The actual blue in the pond is the "Caught in Crystal" technique using CE Night of Navy re-inker and daz diamonds glitter. I used the tine on a plastic fork to make the ice skate lines. Let that dry an hour or so and position under the pond hole in your cardstock that you cut out. Then I stamped the trees in black and forest foliage. I stamped a hedgie in black cut it out, stamped a mirrored hedgie using the mirror image technique, cut him out colored in the hedgies. Sponged the sky using Night of Navy and Eggplant Envy. Next I outlined the cardstock around the pond and in several other places below the pond in CE and covered with daz diamonds to make is look like glistening snow. Then I covered all the area around the pond and 3 areas on the pond with white liquid applique and dumped white flock all over the white liquid applique. Put some CE on some of the tree branches and add daz diamonds to make the tree glisten. Attach hedgies with mono, add greeting, and let the entire thing dry completely overnight.
