Today we're painting daisies, I've got a bit more than 3 colors, and I made a mistake when I took my salt bottle, I had "sel fou" that's salt with herbes and spices, instead of the bottle with sea salt
so when I've brushed it off there were some stains and I've used black paint and white gel pen to hide that
I like the final look so didn't start again

Stunning card with the beautiful daisy and lovely colors for the background. Like the added texture of the herbes. Thanks for sharing your painting with us this week.

This is cool I love how the whites highlight it and I love that you shared the story of how it came to be so, I am grinning from ear to ear here this morning into my coffee cup because, that sounds totally like something I would do. this is so pretty Anita, I love the colors you chose for the background a lot also.

I would have never known there was an accident with the salt with herbs (made me laugh) unless you told us because it turned out so beautiful. Your daisy is sooooooo pretty and I like the background colors.

I want some salt with spices in it - how fun is that! Love how you covered it up.
Great colors here, Anita, and your happy flower is delightful. Hugz

I really love the color you chose for your background. I think that is perfect against that yellow center of the flower. I have to laugh at your story about shaking the wrong thing onto the wet paint. It sounds like me! But I do like that white and black flecks that resulted. You are a true artist to be able to roll with that.

Great sketching on that lush daisy (love the added detail in the leaves) and your background turned out to be "seasoned to perfection" with the sel fou.
