I've started this trio by die cutting 1 star out of the cream base, I've kept the die cut aside and used the negative on the upper left card, but before I've used it as a mask to sponge the other card left bottom, once finished I've sponged the whole card front, used foam tape to pop it over the stamped image and layered on evergreen card base, then I've stamped the sentiment and stars.
the second was almost the same but this card is flat I've stamped the scene over the star and sponged the card lightly with the ink left on the brush, stamped the stars and sentiment and added on both cards some crystal nuvo drops, the last one is the card made with the die cut star from the first card, I've sponged the edges and stamped the cute penguin who sees stars!!
I've colored him with pencils
The bg is stamped with stars using the same stamp 6 times, I found some washi tape with stars and added also some star stickers, layered with red on cream base.
This took me 3 hours to make 3 cards.

What a fabulous trio of cards! Love the use of the stars as either the background for the image or the shape that contains the image! All are great but I especially love the two on the left.
