Easter was coming, so I checked my "TO DO" Stash to see if any Easter cards lurked that needed finishing. I found a lamb image already colored, and a photo of the original card it was intended for by Liz Thayer. I decided to tweak Liz's card a bit, because I wanted my card larger than the paper pieces found with the image.
I kept the cardbase and first layer colors but changed the card face from a vanilla to a very soft yellow. There was a little Mint Macaron banner pre-cut, but I decided I wanted it longer so I cut a new one about 1/2" longer. One challenge suggested ribbon, and I found a pretty Offray pink with white dots sheer ribbon that I thought would go nicely.
I check out possible SCS challenges that I might be able to use and found 13 that would work, and they are listed below:
1) WT894 - Ways to Use It Challenge/ Sing, Sing a Song - 4/28/22. "Mary Had a Little Lamb" is a song I sing often to my granddaughter. Though I'm sure you all remember the song, I'm uploading a version as required:
2) AOCC22 - All Occasions Card Challenge/ April 2022 - 4/1/22. A much needed Easter card for my youngest son and her family.
3) USEIT2022 - Use It Challenge/ April 2022 - 4/1/22. An ongoing/ annual challenge that requires you to use OLD/ DUSTY and long unused items and/or OLD/NEW items purchased, never used, and seemingly forgotten! OLD: It's My Party Enamel Dots; Banner Triple Punch (2014-15 AC). OLD/NEW: Easter Lamb for Baby (2016 Occasions).
4) MIX474 - Mix-ability Challenge/ The OG Toodbox - 2/25/22. Challenge: Go to your childhood art toolbox. Use colored pencils and one other medium. I used colored pencils, Copics, and a White gel pen. I don't think I did the process correctly as the Copic markers took over the final result, and I don't see the pencils. Mediums: Colored pencils, Copic markers, Gel pen, dye-base stamping ink.
5) CC873 - Color Challenge/ The Bride Choose Mint Cake - 12/7/21. Colors: Blushing Bride, Mint Macaron, Crumb Cake. Dessert: Bling. I add a very, very pale yellow...almost a yellowish vanilla. My bling are my 3 enamel dots!
6) IC777 - Inspiration Challenge/ Riverbend Home - 10/24/20. Challenge: I chose this little sheep/lamb figurine: Standing Sheep--Easter Figurine!
7) DDSKETCH1020 - Monthly Fan Club--October 2020/ Masquerade! - 10/15/20. Challenge: Must meet the challenge theme. My card used one of the included interpretations: to feature an image w/ a face as masks are paper faces! I tweaked the sketch: Diamond became an oval and added a little banner embellishment as a background for my gems.
F4A543 - Free 4 All Challenge/ Make It Country - 7/17/20. Challenge: Add something that says country to your card, such as feature farm animals on your card. Other themes are also suggested, but I chose farm animals!
9) MMTPT625 - Teapot Challenge/ Van Harte Gefeliciteerd - 7/14/20. Challenge: Nylon was invented in 1935. Show something representing nylon on your card. I chose a nylon fiber ribbon of organza. (Organza used to be made of silk but is usually nylon or polyester in this day and age). I am very late to the party, so I made this Easter celebration card for my son and family.
10) FS698 - Featured Stamper/ p.s. She Loves Papercrafts (aka Patti Dolan @ pspapercrafts) - 6/21/20. Challenge: Browse pspapercrafts' gallery and choose a card to CASE. Patti's gallery was fun to browse, and I chose this card to CASE: Zoo Globe Baby Birthday Card! Chosen for its colors, dots, dotted ribbon and image oval. I kept similar colors, but used them in a different way; used dotted patterned paper, though not as a BG but as a horizontal strip; used an animal image, but a lamb not an elephant; used oval shape to present my animal image, but applied on kraft BG not white; and I used a dotted ribbon.
11) ABC10Y9 - Alphabet Challenge/ Letter Y = Yearling - 10/24/19. My natural (not man-made) subject is a Yearling Lamb...it meets the Double Challenge for yearling as well!
12) TLC730 - Technique Challenge/ Get Inky & Krafty - 2/18/19. Challenge: use Kraft paper and color an image on it. With my image I used both Copics and colored pencils, plus a gel pen for little lamb's wool.
13) CAS472 - Clean & Simple Challenge/ Lion and Lamb - 3/12/18. Challenge: "March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb." Add some lions or lambs to your card...or another interpretation.
Ingredients: Stampin' Up: Cardstock--Blushing Bride, Mint Macaron, Crumb Cake. Stamp--Easter Lamb (2016 Occasions). Dies--Layering Ovals. Ink--Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Memento Tuxedo Black. Banner Triple punch. Enamel Dot--It's My Party. Other--Soft Yellow Cardstock (stash, Dot paper (stash), Copic markers, Sergeant Colored Pencils, Offray pink-dot sheer ribbon, Uniball Signo White gel pen.

Oh Carlene, this is an adorable Easter card! I love the little lamb stamped on kraft and colored, so well done. And then sweet polka dot paper combined with the polka dot ribbon, so cute.

Cute lamb image and I love the way you mimicked the dotted image with the dotted dp. Perfect spring colors for Easter. Very fun and a very sweet card to wish someone a Happy Easter.

Carlene, this is such a sweet card. Love how you continued the dotted theme to go with your lamb! Especially using the dotted ribbon. It just pulls this card altogether in a wonderful way!
