This is for one of our stamping friends here on SCS...Brenda aka Benzi. She is still recovering from a broken knee cap. I did know that she has a fondness for snowmen (even though she lives in a warm climate state) but I had forgotten about the houndstooth connection. So my card is a bit of a fantasy with a snowman in the sunshine on a field of houndstooth snow....how's that for a combo? I think she'll like it. Come join us this week and send Brenda some big Teapotter hugs!

Yay - I'm glad you went for the snowman. I was tempted to use one myself. And houndstooth - doubly perfect. I like the die-cut circle as the centre of the sun.

Everytime I think of snowmen and sunshine, I think of Frozen. LOL This is a great card! I love the snowman/angel. And I love the way you did the bottom.

I love this whimsical, bright look of this card. I think angel snowmen can pretty much go anywhere with no problem so a sunny houndstooth slope sounds ideal. Brenda will absolutely love this -- so many of her favorites here. You certainly created a Brenda special with this beauty.
The bright happy colors, paired with Brenda's favorite things will surely cheer her up, Polly! Love the fussy-cut snowman that looks right at home on pink houndstooth snowbanks!
