Color Challenge hosted by Barbara with the dessert option of Christmas in July: Costal Cabana, Polished Pink and Silver
Inspired by Sketch Challenge hosted by Cathy
The snowgirl was stamped and heat embossed in silver starting with the top circle. Then I masked it and stamped & embossed the next circle and so forth. The hat was heat embossed in black and fussy cut. The scarf was stamped in Costal Cabana, fussy cut, the stripes were colored with a Polished Pink blends marker with Wink of Stella was applied on top. My stylish snowgirl has a flower on her hat and flowers instead of coal or buttons on her body.
The layout was inspired by the wonderful samples for the Sketch Challenge. Without seeing the actual sketch, I proceeded with the design with a little adaptation. Since I had already stamped my snowgirl with outstretched arms, I die-cut the panel a little larger and then positioned it in the middle.
I had the perfect paper for the Challenge Colors in Costal Cabana and Smokey Slate (silver). The pattern almost looks like snowflakes. The sentiment is heat embossed in white and die-cut into a stitched rectangle. Super fun card to create.
Thanks for the great challenges and the inspiration!

This card is just so delightful. The snowman looks like he has his arms out like he wants to give us a big hug -- how cute! You did a wonderful job with the sketch and color challenges TFS
