The photo doesn't do this card justice, IRL the flower from the inks is a gorgeous blue/green, but I was trying to catch the beautiful shimmer of the Wink of Stella, so I guess the color had to take a backseat when I photographed the card laying flat.
My can of air had a broken cap which may have been fortuitous to my process of creating the flower. I had to push down on the top which didn't give full force applications of air, but rather short bursts which seemed to give more feathering. I used Distress Glaze to coat the flower and remove the tackiness of the AI and I applied clear Wink of Stella around the yellow flower center. The sentiment was stamped with Ranger Black Archival and Colorbox Gold.

Ha, from my experience I'd say you probably were lucky. I'll be trying a straw IF I try again. You really did get such great feathered edges to your petals, so pretty. I couldn't capture my blue properly either, even though I tried several different settings. It's a hard colour with real flowers too ;-).

Your flower feathered fabulously! Say that fast five times. lol
The color of the flower is wonderful. I am just amazed at the control you seemed to have and how my inks just went everywhere. I had much better luck just blowing on the ink.
