DD8ABC24X: This week we are on X. I handed this card to my DH and told him it was my X card. He saw it right away, do you? See the X design in the concertina fold card? In looking for a new-to-me tutorial, I found this one: Concertina Fold Card Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers The change that I made was to mount the concertina fold front onto a full 8.5x4.25 card base so I would have the full use, instead of just mounting it to a quarter sheet of cs.
Just in case my visible x's in the card design didn't fly, I printed this image of a xiphium iris and colored it with Copic markers.
No dp was harmed in the making of this card. The pattern you see on the Daffodil Delight cs is the Blooms Fill In stamp stamped in Daffodil Delight ink and the pattern on the Lovely Lilac cs is the Plaid Background stamp stamped in Lovely Lilac ink.
The image/sentiment panel is popped up on dimensionals.
Thanks for looking!

What a beautiful birthday card Catherine with such a fun/unique fold. Wow! I chuckled when you wrote that no DSP was hurt during the making of this wonderful card. I am so pleased to read this too! Your stamping is gorgeous and it truly does look like dp. I saw the X immediately in this wonderful design. Terrific coloring of these iris flowers too. ~Karen.

Wow you are one smart cookie!!! That's not all this card is gorgeous!! It would make good for an Easter Card (change the sentiment), but the card and colors would work!! Gorgeous!!

Wonderful Concertina fold and so CLEVER on your "X" word....just clever, clever! Love the gold and purples together with your iris, and lovely stamped papermaking!
