I guess I probably feel like a quilter going through her fabric scraps when finding the colors and textures she needs for a quilt. Only I am doing it with my countless bags of design paper scrap bags. My stamping resolution this year is to use at least one scrap from one of these bags on each card I make. I am so proud of this card because every piece came from my scrap bags. I stamped the flowers onto design paper as well and fussy cut them out. I added some highlights to the flowers with a copic marker. The centers of the flowers are done with gold leaf metallic pen.
I also need to have an over abundance of thinking of you cards for our Care team at church, so maybe I can make a dent in those scrap bags this year. I hope so.

Great goal for using up the scraps, Liz! The papers you used on this card are gorgeous! I love the rich look of the gold in the centers of the flowers ~ great idea, and easier for mailing than pearls or gems.

GReat use of your scraps........I should do that as well. Prompt me if I forget, please. I love the colors and combination of papers, and stamping the flowers on dp worked really beautifully, mf.
