This is for the WT Shaped Card challenge and early for the Alphabet Challenge, Letter X - used xoxo paper pattern, and a paper strip with XO.
Some years ago, a fellow SCS artist, LovePrettyPapers - Anita sent me a kit, which I have been hoarding. It's so stinkin' cute. Since I've been using up old supplies, I decided to finally use it. Anita so kindly sent the pattern, sample card and xtra-special embellishments. With her pattern and by following her sample card, I made my own "word card" as she called it.
This is what I did:
Cut red strip 3 ½" x 10 1/2". Scored at 3 ½" and 7". Made the creases in opposite ways to make the tri-fold card. Copied the pattern onto cardstock and cut out each letter to make templates. Then I temporarily attached the letter templates onto DSP and cut out. Removed the letter templates. Permanently attached each DSP letter onto the tri-fold card allowing for a border. Then I carefully cut the card base around the letters, making sure to preserve the hinge at the bottom. Decorated as seen with various embellishments. Thank U, Anita for the X-tra fun kit. Thank U for looking.
