I made this for Cathy's WTUI challenge, which you will find HERE. This is neither plan A nor plan B - when Susie sent me these cute penguins I had to incorporate them and moved on to plan C. To give myself lots of space (because these are certainly not the so-cute little tiny Australian penguins), I used the Envelope Fold Tutorial. Last time I made one of these was before the tutorial had been posted and I'd had to figure it out myself - it was SO much easier following Melissa's tutorial. I used a blue card for the base, white card for the frame and layers of snow and glitter card for the stars, along with an old chocolate box for the tree. The penguins accidentally got a slight misting when I was making my Poppies MIX card last week - but they still looked fine except for a larger spot of green, hence the addition of a bow tie. I added a couple of white rabbits frolicking round the snow drifts.
The closed card can be seen HERE

These Australian Penguins are adorable. Love how they turned out on this fold. It is funny how we have a plan for a card and then it changes more than once, your changes worked perfectly. I will need to check out this fold tutorial it would be perfect for some of my needed Christmas cards. Wonderful card Sabrina. You used the penguins perfectly.

How cute is Plan C!!!! I love everything you create Sabrina. I will be back tomorrow to see what your Plan A is. We live one hour away from the little penguins.....one more reason why you should come for a holiday my friend.

I don't think I've ever made an envelope fold card but sure looks like fun. Your penguins are adorable and I really like the tree and stars all around. What a fun card.

Your little penguins are SO sweet! And your fold is really cool. I have a feeling that I'm going to find a lot of things I want to try in this gallery!

Adorable card Sabrina, What a fun pop up card.... I must add this to my list to try. Your penguins look so cozy in their winter hats. Plan C is a winner
