For this single-layer card, I stamped the peacock in Island Indigo, and then created a mask for it to protect it from the sponging. I masked off the rectangular area and sponged in Memento Pear Tart (which is really a lime green, but looks yellow in the sunlight), followed by Bermuda Bay around the edges. Then I removed the masks and colored in the peacock with markers, stamped the sentiment and added rhinestones. And not one ink smudge, WOOP! :P

Your peacock and background are perfection! This is one spectacular one-layer card, and yay for you with no smudges; I think that's the hardest thing about one-layer cards, avoiding smudges!
