I used today's CC colors (pacific point, real red, pumpkin pie) to make a card in honor of Barb, our FS from last Sunday. Congrats to Barb! Her gallery is full of great cards. This is the card I chose to case.
My card is going to Kim's (Crazykim) Dad, Tom. He is battling cancer, which they thought they got but he has to have more surgery. As well, he is still deeply grieving the loss of his wife (Kim's Mom) who passed away 1-1/2 yrs ago. I hope it will help him to know I care.
Stamped kraft w/real light Versafine toffee (*neutral brown.) Inked linen stamp with pac pt and spritzed w/water. Stamped over the toffee with the third stamping (kinda made the pac pt look green but I assure you it IS pac pt!) Lightly and randomly re-inked the linen stamp, spritzed with water. The second panel is the the second print I stamped. Stamped the Magenta floral in Stazon black. Added a real red mat. Colored with today's colors, achieving various shades by using different amounts of water. Stamped the sentiment in real red. (That "u!" at the end has lost it's "self-stick" on the back and when I stamped it, it slipped down. Drats!)
Thanks for looking!

Gabby your beautiful card and kind words and email brought me to tears. I know us teapotters are always there for each other but when it is a call out for my Dad and you do send a card to him I am so overwhelmed by your kindness. He will love your card. He is such a special man who has always been the bestest Dad ever. I will answer your email as well. Thank you so so so much xx
