I love the fall color palette in today's color challenge! I subbed distress inks in spiced marmalade, brushed courduroy and wild honey. I also worked in the dessert option of Thanksgiving.
I didn't have any cardstock that I thought matched properly, so I colored the strips and the layer under the image panel by rubbing the ink pads directly on white cardstock. I also used a bic marker to color the gems so that they would match the card colors.
Finally, I wanted to note that I used a sketch from the Nov/Dec 2010 issue of Papercrafts magazine.
