Hello, all you artful ladies! I want to thank you, Anne for selecting me as QFTD46. What a ride this week has been, reading your stories about how my art reaches out has blessed me beyond words.
I am betting some of you remember the original TV game show . Please have a look, at least for 2 minutes. I remember my mother watching this when I was 5 years old because, I learned to tie my saddle shoes while she was watching...I can close my eyes and be right back there!
I hope my card conveys some of the joy that you all brought me with your creativity, heartfelt words, and encouragement. I actually got the quip last fall with the intention of making a cheeky card..little did I know Anne would beat me to the honor. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Susan, I love it. Listened to the whole thing and I must say, I was so glad to see the Queen smile.
Love your card, it's just so funny and the spotlight on her is perfect. Glad you were named Queen for the Day my dear, and yes, you inspire us so much with your funny spirited wit and caring. Hugs, xo

Hahaha, love the card and the stroll down memory lane. I remember watching it too. I didn't understand why those ladies would get so excited over a new range or a freezer filled with food, because we had all of those things. I didn't understand how truly blessed that we were...but am profoundly grateful for my continued blessing. I'm glad that you are enjoying your well deserved reign.

Sweet Susan, what a amazing card of epic portion! I, too, remember watching this program. For some reason, I guess, in retrospect, my mom probably always wanted to be the Queen. I loved seeing the video. I cant believe how stoic they were back in the day. Interesting to see how a half century sure can change things! With listening to the master of ceremony, I quickly realized he did his proclamation without script ~ another thing we havent seen in many years. Your card is wonderful. I know you thoroughly enjoyed your reign, and rightfully so I must add. Your drapes and queenly figure are wonderful. Do I also see an audience?
It was a sincere pleasure to announce to the world your royal highness reign. Once a queen, always a queen.
